Gosh, thanks!

I am on the mend!

I have been sick for well over a month now and I have discovered something:  I have an awesome family and fantastic friends.

To date I have received well over 20 meals, lots of visits, cards, phone calls, emails, texts, communion, gifts, books, and prayers!  People have offered to clean my house - why did I decline? :)  My sister flew in from New York and has taken care of me and the kiddos this whole week!

There is no way I will be able to repay everyone for the kindness showered on me!  All I can do right now is to say thank you.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I hope that this will be over next Wednesday.  I will keep you posted.

Meanwhile, let's look at funny photos of Abbe Alex, ok?

Don't even think about it.

OK, on second thought, I'll be nice.  I'll save the montage for when he's out of town.

Where's Mother Crab?

Hangin' out with Grandpa.

Since I've been in my house for 29 days now (minus time spent at hospitals, doctors and FINALLY, church yesterday), let's take a trip down memory lane to when my life was somewhat exciting and guess where this photo was taken!

Please put your answer in the combox.  Funny answers always make me like you more.

Dear Crabby

Nothing says "Get healthy" more than a funny question posted to Mother Crab, or Dear Crabby, as I will be referred to in this segment.

So, ask away!  I have enough wisdom to answer any question.  I may not answer them well, but I'm not making any money off of this.

So, pose your question to Dear Crabby in the combox and I will answer ASAP!

Happy waffles

My daughter brought breakfast to me this morning and it looked like this:

If this doesn't cheer you up, what will???

Her hair tasted the best!

Poetry contest

Please enter the 1st Annual Crabby Mom Poetry Contest.

All I need you to do is to write a poem.  My theme is going to center around my health,
or lack there-of. Let me give you some examples:

HAIKU

"Nature's remedy"
Fevers and coughing
Waiting for health to return
Mickey's anyone?

or

LIMERICK

"This is the stupidest poem ever."
There once was a crab, this is true!
Who had turned one different hue
Oh try as she may
She just would not stay
The color of Institute Blue

I will have some sort of prize. I'm not sure what, yet.  It'll be fantabulous, though.
